Edward Wilkins

Group Director

Edward leads our London-based installation operations and brings a wealth of experience to the role. Beginning his career as an electrical apprentice with EDF Energy at just 16, he has built a strong foundation in the electrical industry. In partnership with co-founder Joe, Edward helped establish and grow Current Direction Group, combining technical expertise with a strong focus on customer service.

Edward thrives in the dynamic nature of the industry. He enjoys navigating the daily challenges that come with managing teams, meeting expectations, and delivering results. His ultimate goal is ensuring every project is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard, leaving both clients and teams proud of the outcome.

Joseph O’Connor

Group Director

Joseph started Current Direction Limited in 2015, bringing a wealth of experience to his role as Group Director. He spearheads Current Direction’s electrical installations, repairs, and reactive callouts in South London. Joseph’s journey began at Lewisham College, where he cultivated his passion for electrical work. He then completed a 4 year apprenticeship at EDF Energy alongside co-founder Ed, before they ventured to establish Current Direction.

What Joseph enjoys most about his work is the dynamic nature of the industry and the satisfaction of transforming unsafe buildings into compliant ones. He’s also deeply committed to nurturing new talent, taking pride in seeing apprentices succeed as part of the company.

Tom Stone

Facilities Director

Tom is our Facilities Director. He brings a decade of experience with Current Direction to the team. While this is their first year in the director role, he’s been an integral part of our journey for nearly ten years.

Tom’s expertise lies in Total Facilities Management (FM) and contract management, a journey that began 20 years ago as an apprentice HVAC engineer. He enjoys working alongside other driven, hardworking, and passionate employees.
